i feel like i'm in some sort of 90's movie when i'm taking pictures
it's really nice to just have ideas on the spot, that's why i love spontaneity in my shoots
i don't see everything as a picture like some photographers do, i actually don't see real life as a picture at all really. i don't know. some people see everything in a frame, i don't. i think it's better to save inspiration for when it matters. i don't know again. thank you for following my work, i'm really sleepy so i'm going to crash now, i hope everyone has a wonderful night

death cab for cutie is such a nostalgia home base for me. i listened to them religiously from 6th-9th grade, i met my sweetheart at their concert on april 10th, 2009 and i've just connected with ben gibbard's words throughout the years, more on and off now but his voice makes me feel so summery and "plans" will forever be my favorite album by them, but i listen to other songs from their older records and i just fall in love.

sad music makes me happy and summer makes me sad, so whenever benjamin speaks of the cold air taking your heart away, it makes me excited for the cold, knowing that at least my heart will stay.

if i could photograph a band, any band, i'd definitely choose death cab. i just think that my thoughts to them would translate so well to photographs of them.

waterfront wednesday

i haven't really taken pictures for fun in a while, which is sad. these are from last wednesday's waterfront show. ryan and his dad took me! isn't that nice of them.

 i thought this girl had really pretty hair

 the crowd when we first got there. it was HOT like 100 degrees

my mom wanted me to take a picture of her hair (she was proud of it)
